Air quality in agricultural industry

The InsightAir Sensor can be used to monitor air quality on and around farms. As ammonia is an important parameter in farm emissions, this parameter is integrated into the InsightAir Sensor instead of an ozone sensor. The sensor measures the following parameters:

  • NO2
  • Ammonia
  • Total VOC (volatile organic components)
  • Particulate matter
  • Relative humidity
  • Temperature
  • Sound

This allows the farm to accurately measure the air quality in and around the company. Data are real time accessible, and trend limits and alerts can be installed. The information gathered by the InsightAir sensor can provide useful insights on the air quality and provide an indication of sources of pollution and potential resolutions, both to the company as well as to the government, should the owner decide to make his data publicly available.
